Casablanca Airport Office (CAO) was set up in 1980 by 25-79 law introducing airport management autonomy and company structure notions. In 1990, 14-89 law has ruled on its conversion into   National Airports Office. 89-480 decree was later adopted for this law implementation. 47-00 law has joined air controllers and electronics security engineers training to this office.
ONDA has therefore became first autonomous state-owned airport management company with industrial character.
