Mohammed VI International Civil aviation Academy has made, Since its inauguration in October 26, 2000 by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, a giant leap of success ensuring high training levels based on advanced learning techniques. This has been combined with aviation technology research and development.
It is worth mentioning that this challenge couldn’t have been taken without the Academy's undertaken strategic alliances which has offered it an international recognition.
In addition, the Safety Institute, an area center bound to the ICAO head office, has, since 1997, given its approval to the Academy. Such accreditation has opened the way to a new development.
Mohammed VI Civil aviation Academy currently gathers four training institutes :
- Air Traffic Services institute which ensures to air traffic controllers and air navigation service managers initial and continuous training.
- Air Security Systems Institute which offers wide range of trainings in fields of air navigation exploitation and maintenance.
- Aviation Management Institute which organizes training courses, seminars and workshops in various airports management, exploitation and air transport organizations fields.
- Civil aviation Safety institute, an ICAO area center, is in charge of standardized training programs AVSEC (Aviation Security) in three languages (Arabic, English and French).
