Air control
Air control safety mission is part of our country’s international obligations and its active International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) membership, held to guarantee to air traffic security fluidity and effectiveness.
Airspace
Moroccan airspace is under Casablanca National Air Security Control Center (CNCSA)responsibility, whose air control teams are standing by 24/7 ensuring air space users a perfect safety by maintaining each plane on an air route and by respecting horizontal and vertical lawful separations which protect the planes from any collision risk.
Airport space
Airports airspace and adjacent airspaces air security falls within local aerodrome control bodies competency (tower control – approach control – aprons control) which have the obligation to protect aircraft from collisions and boarding during taking off and/or landing phases either on the ground or in the apron .
Airports management
ONDA has always known that national air transport modernization imposes a total mobilization of its forces. While choosing air transport management globalization, the Administration aimed at creating necessary aeronautic infrastructure development dynamics which represent an air transport thrust as a whole. Such activity is characterized by its strong tendency to generate national economic growth.
The carried out action plans considered, first and foremost, modernization, air terminal facilities extension and airports roadways intensification. They have also focused, since 1990, on radio navigation network restoration as well as telecommunication equipments renewal. Consequently, new radar equipment have recently been introduced and aviation services automated. Moroccan civil aviation sector has became successful and modern therefore responding to all safety and security efficiency requirements in accordance with International Civil aviation (ICAO) standards.
Evolving and moving in a constantly changing environment, ONDA opened up to outside - international cooperation, a competition and progress source. The capitalized ONDA qualifications through carried out development plans, allows it today to export its skills. The construction of Gaza airport illustrates clearly the ONDA’s know-how quality. In parallel, the ONDA has given the technical field its autonomy by setting up a national maintenance center and by implementing a permanent plane laboratory dedicated to flight calibration and navigation assistance. In addition, ONDA has developed an academic training complex whose value is, today, recognized worldwide.
After airport Mohammed V Technopolis first section success, which encloses currently more than fifty companies, ONDA intends to continue similar projects development in other platforms and thus, by its dynamics and innovating spirit, its performance, its anticipation capacity and its professionalism, has shown its vocation of a large entrepreneur.
