1.  PROJECT’S OPPORTUNITY:  Terminal 1 refitting  

Current terminal 1 surface is 5 000 m² and its annual holding capacity is 700 000 passengers. Terminal 2 which has been used for hadj and Omra flights has underwent refitting to allow simultaneous departure and arrival flights processing. Its annual holding capacity is 500.000 passengers and has to handle the overall air traffic until 2009 - date when the refitting of terminal 1will be completed.
