Airports Medical Emergency Rooms

Medical services on duty :
 
They provide first emergency medical care with or without sanitary evacuation, offer treatments to passengers and people accompanying them. 
International airports are equipped with medical units to ensure medical care to international passengers.
Airports medical units’ doctors are emergency specialized doctors.
Nurses are specialized anesthetists resuscitators and medical emergencies practitioners.

Nurses are on duty 24/7 in high traffic airports such as Mohammed V, Agadir Al Massira and Marrakech Ménara. In other airports it depends on international traffic.  The on duty medical service timetable is prepared by airport Director.

Medical service unit objectives :

  • Offering, in airports, round the clock medical emergency care.
  • Offering consultations and follow-up visits by requests from airport relevant authority.
  • Participating in developing and executing airport emergency plans and various rescue actions  connected to it.
  • Medical interventions must be done within five minutes following an emergency call.
  • In a general way, offering medical care to all kinds of emergency situations no matter their nature.
